Nothing to be scared of with Bucky Bingo
Halloween may be just around the corner, but there is absolutely nothing scary about the great promotion Bucky Bingo has lined up this month.
On October 31st, players are invited to play our weekly networked game Bingo Linx, where a grand total of £13K will be available.
Bingo Linx is played over three sessions, so the money is split into denominations of £2K, £4K and £7K. The games take place at noon, 6pm and 10.30pm, so players will need to keep a close eye on the clock to ensure they are at the table when the numbers starts to come out.
Halloween by the Bucky Bingo numbers
We love Halloween here at Bucky, so we've put together a few facts and figures to get you ready for the big day!
31 - Halloween is celebrated on the 31st October and originally began as a Celtic celebration. The Celts believed that the Lord of Death released souls back to Earth on this day, coinciding with the end of the harvest season.
8 - Apparently, there are eight holidays for witches, including Halloween. Most of them cross with Earth festivals like the equinox, as well as the harvest, but Beltane celebrated on May 1st is a day on which the god and goddess of fertility are honoured.
10 - There have been ten films in the Halloween movie franchise. This number includes remakes of Halloween I and II, directed by hard rocker Rob Zombie.
