Wii bingo landing this year
It's always good to see the bingo word spread around various platforms, from offline bingo club play to online bingo. With that in mind, Bucky fans may very well be excited about a new game on the Nintendo Wii console which features bingo!
Wii Party is expected on the platform later this year and will come with all of the fun and frolics associated with the Nintendo machine. For example, players can use their specially-customised Mii characters to represent themselves on-screen.
Other games to be including in the title are roulette and Balance Ship, which involves players using the Wii remote to keep a ship from toppling over into the sea.
Nintendo numbers
What numbers would Nintendo choose on its fantasy bingo card? Seeing as Mario and Luigi are among its core mascots, we'd wager on the number two. Four is also a big number for the Japanese video game giant, as up to four players can play simultaneously on the Wii.
The Wii console has sold over 70 million units according to latest figures, so we'll also stick 70 on the card, as well as the number 7, as the machine is considered a seventh-generation console.
Celebrity Wii players are also in abundance, just like in the bingo world. We recently discovered that stars who like to play the game include Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow, the latter of whom even set up a celebrity round at his tenth wedding anniversary party.
