Online bingo fans adore Sex and the City
Most online bingo lovers have a bit of a soft spot for Sex and the City.
Samantha, Charlotte, Carrie and Miranda are familiar to millions as the stars of one of the noughties' most popular TV shows.
What's more, this summer they'll be returning to our screens for a second Sex and the City film that tells us more about how their backstory in what promises to be the perfect accompaniment to a girly night at the bingo.
But in the interim, what better time for the stars to try their hand at something completely different?
Kim Cattrall distances herself from Samantha
Kim Cattrall, aka Samantha, seems to have really taken this to heart if her latest project is anything to go by.
While Samantha was a man-eating Manhattan socialite, online bingo lovers may be surprised to hear that her new character Amanda is in fact a quarrelsome English lady.
Kim stars alongside Matthew MacFadyen in the classic Noel Coward comedy Private Lies, which has just opened in the West End.
Critics from the Mail, the Telegraph, the Guardian and the Independent have already lined up to shower praise on the actress, and it just goes to show that there's much more to her than Sex and the City.
Incidentally, Kim already feels that far too many people confuse her with Samantha.
"I don't think it's me," she told the Daily Mail recently. "There's a clear separation. People used to ask me to come and speak to women about sex issues and relationships and women running businesses.
"That's not what I do - I am none of those things. It's a character."
Well, that's us told. But even as Kim tries her hand at new things, there's no doubt that online bingo fans will continue to revere her as Samantha for a good while yet.
