Bucky in Love the results are in
The winner of our immensely popular Bucky in Love competition has been revealed.
For the last few weeks, we've been asking you to send us your all-time favourite chat-up lines via Twitter or email.
Some of them were funny, some of them were very funny and some of them had us rolling on the floor with laughter.
There was no shortage of contenders but the winner was a Bucky Bingo member with the chat name fgs_sach_is_mad, who suggested: "I may not be Fred Flintstone but I can make your bed rock."
This lucky bingo fan wins a spin on the London Eye, a romantic pleasure cruise down the Thames and a four-course a la carte meal.
Plenty of interest from the Twitosphere
Some absolutely fantastic entries were submitted on Twitter under the hashtag #buckylove.
And fittingly enough, the winner was announced first on @matt_at_bucky - the Twitter account for VIP online bingo players.
On March 1st 2010, he tweeted the result before adding: "Thanks to all who entered the competition. It was really tough to pick the winner. :( #buckylove."
The Bucky in Love competition really seemed to strike a chord with UK online bingo players and we received dozens of great entries.
For example, Twitter user vixlou suggested: "Hi, I'm doing a survey. What's your name? What's your phone number? Are you free on Saturday?"
And SmileySammy1 came up with: "Here's 20p. Tell your parents you won't be home tonight. You've pulled."
While Bucky in Love may have finished, Bucky Bingo will continue to enhance its Twitter presence over the coming months.
