Bucky notches up £1,000 for charity
The campaign put together by Bucky Bingo and Breakthrough Breast Cancer has raised £1,000 after an amazing week.
Bucky and Breakthrough have teamed up on Facebook, and for every member who joins the page, Bucky donates £1 to the charity. The past seven days has seen over 300 people 'Like' the group: a record-breaking period for the campaign.
The Bucky Facebook page has become a hive of activity in recent weeks. Indeed, one competition with a unique twist asked members to put their name on the Facebook wall and ask their friends to vote for them. The winner, industrious Lynn Doe, can now see her profile picture in pride-of-place in Bucky's Facebook living room!
Great month ahead
Of course, Bucky Bingo fans can enjoy the Facebook page in addition to the brilliant community spirit enjoyed at its website. The same great offers are still in place, although this month fans can enjoy the brilliant Bingo Linx competition with an amazing prize.
October 31st may be considered the scariest day of the year by some, but this Halloween sees a very special competition come to Bucky.
During the day, £13K will be distributed over three games worth £2K, £4K and £7K each. The games will be played at noon, 6pm and 10.30pm and will be sure to generate plenty of traffic to the site.
With so much going on at Bucky, it's hard to see why anybody would choose to be anywhere else this October!
