Celebrating Father's Day in style
Men are notoriously hard to buy presents for; you can only buy so many pairs of novelty socks before they lose their, well, novelty. This year, Father's Day fell on June 20th 2010 and our army of Bucky Bingo ladies came up with all sorts of novel ways to treat their dads. Here's the pick of the bunch:
Petrolhead dads
Some Bucky Bingo members decided to arrange fun days at motor racing courses. It's possible that a lucky streak on our bingo games helped raise the funds to give their dads the experience of a lifetime getting behind the wheel of a classic Ferrari Testarossa (pictured).
Football-mad dads
For footy fans, there's nothing quite like a tour of their favourite football stadium. Thanks to the generosity of Bucky Bingo ladies, several dads were packed off to learn about the history of their club, bask in the glory of the trophies and imagine the roar of the crowd as they walked up the tunnel.
All-action dads
Of course, some dads prefer the Great Outdoors. Bucky Bingo ladies had plenty of presents to choose from such as sailing lessons or real ale courses. For true adrenaline junkies, the list could be expanded to include bungee jumping, sphering or skydiving.
Our members were clearly not lacking inspiration when it came to treating their dads this Father's Day. At Bucky Bingo, we like to think that the big bingo bonus prizes being won every day helped to pay for a few memorable days out.
