Bingo fan Moyles celebrates radio success
Occasional bingo player Chris Moyles celebrated this week after official figures revealed a rise in listeners to his Radio One breakfast show. Moyles, who recently admitted to enjoying a game of bingo, saw his radio audience grow from 7.24 million to 7.9 million listeners per week.
The new figures will be good news for Moyles, who has hosted the Radio One Breakfast show since 2004, and puts the DJ 1.6 million listeners behind the Radio Two equivalent.
Moyles, 36, may have gained the extra support from land-based and online bingo players across the UK after telling listeners he recently became a bingo-convert. Speaking on air in 2010, the DJ stated that he had really enjoyed his first bingo experience.
Fun with friends
According to report, Moyles had journeyed to a land-based club with some friends, and although he didn't reveal if he had pocketed any cash, we at Bucky Bingo are just glad he had a nice time.
Indeed, Moyles' experience of playing bingo enjoying the atmosphere with a few friends is not an uncommon one. In fact, it is one of the main reasons why hundreds of players log into Bucky Bingo every week.
Bucky Bingo is proud of the community atmosphere in its chatrooms. Indeed, these live message boards give online bingo members the chance to chat to each other before, during and after every session. Our players have a reputation as some of the friendliest gamers on the internet.
