Bingo fans Take That end year with gongs
Online bingo fans will no doubt be aware of the longstanding love affair UK supergroup Take That have enjoyed with the game of bingo.
Indeed, just over a year ago Gary Barlow celebrated his wedding anniversary with wife Dawn by hosting a star-studded free bingo session at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.
With that in mind, we're sure bingo fans were among the thousands who helped the band recently pick up two top awards. Take That were named top-selling artist at online website Amazon.co.uk, finishing ahead of chart-topping stalwarts The Beatles and Michael Jackson. The group sold 1.8 million copies of album Progress in 2010, the year they also welcomed former bandmate Robbie Williams back into the fold.
Another gong came from online ticket exchange website Viagogo, with users rating the fivesome ahead of Kings of Leon, JLS, Lady Gaga and Michael Buble to take the most popular live act award.
