Arguments are flying over the question of what to do with a popular bingo club in Somerset. The beautiful town of Taunton has a thriving bingo club that welcomes more than 2,000 players through its doors each week. Nevertheless, plans are afoot that threaten its very future. A group called Project Gaumont wants to turn the bingo club into a multi-entertainment centre. That has prompted a passionate defence from the bingo club's current manager who feels the plans are demeaning to bingo.
