Remaining X Factor hopefuls by the Bucky Bingo numbers

How do the bingo balls stack up for The X Factor finalists?

Bucky Bingo has The X Factor

If there's one thing that we're sure of here at Bucky Bingo, it's that our community of brilliant players most certainly have The X Factor.

So, now The X Factor is heating up with the departure of Belle Amie this week, we think it's time to update our original X Factor appraisal in our unique Bucky bingo numbers style!

X Factor by the bingo numbers

1 – Nelson's column – One Direction are many people's favourites to take The X Factor crown, and they are most certainly proving to be a hit with the girls. As Simon Cowell's last remaining act, they're going to have to pull out all the stops if their mentor is going to end 2010 as top dog.

2 – One little duck – Katie Waissel has become a controversial figure over the course of the series. The blonde bombshell has been placed in the sing-for-survival scenario twice already, and odds are she'll soon be in the unenviable position of leaving the show empty-handed.

17 – Dancing queen - Seventeen-year-old Cher Lloyd is another contestant who has turned heads during her time on the show. The Worcestershire student, often compared to mentor and bingo games fan Cheryl Cole, stunned audiences this past weekend with her rendition of Stay by Shakespeare's Sister. She must now be considered a favourite.

54 – Clean the floor - Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho is, at 54, the oldest competitor among this year's finalists. According to gossip, he has struck up a relationship with fellow contestant Mary Byrne, but surely the Portuguese has more chance of winning her heart than The X Factor?

4 – The one next door - TreyC reached the live shows ahead of the popular Gamu as one of four wildcards. However, she has failed to set the programme alight in the way she would have hoped. It's difficult to see her going much further in the competition.

14 – Valentine's Day - At 14/1, the odds may not favour Irish Mary Byrne. Still, she did manage to break type for her Halloween-inspired version of Could It Be Magic this weekend. Not the winner, in our opinion, but certainly someone who could have a music career once the show has finished.

82 – Fat lady with a duck - Aiden Grimshaw gave himself a mountain to climb with his cover of the 1982 classic Thriller. He didn't really come close to emulating the Michael Jackson classic, but the Blackpool native does have a legion of fans sure to take him far in the contest.

27 – Gateway to heaven - At 27, Matt Cardle just made the grade as one of Dannii Minogue's Boys category. He is currently considered to be the favourite, seeming to straddle the line between housewives' favourite and teen heart-throb with ease. This could take him to the crown.

5 – Man alive - Interestingly, Paije Richardson has only sang one song associated with a male singer during his time on the show. James Brown's It's A Man's Man's Man's World stands out against a selection of popular female soul songs. Paije sang it at the audition stage, and arguably is yet to better it.

7 – Lucky - It has been seven years since Rebecca Ferguson stopped singing after the birth of her children. Now her young family has grown up a touch, the Liverpudlian is back and should easily make the show's top five. Comparisons with Leona Lewis are inevitable.
