Presidential showdowns in the UK
So the UK is to take a leaf out of America's book and go down the route of presidential-style TV showdowns.
Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg have reached a deal that will see a trio of live PM debates in the final weeks before the general election.
The idea is to give our leading statesmen the chance to get their message out to British voters, and hopefully tap into some of the glamour surrounding Barack Obama's tussles with John McCain across the Atlantic.
However, online bingo fans will no doubt be forgiven for thinking that the sight of Gordon, David and Nick droning away about pension deficits might not be a recipe for edge-of-the-seat viewing.
That's why we've devised a little online bingo game to keep things interesting.
The PM Online Bingo Game
Simply invite a couple of friends over, print out our unique bingo tickets and tick off each statement as it happens.
The first person to complete their card wins, well, that's entirely up to you actually!
So without further ado, we present The PM Online Bingo Game:
Gordon grins awkwardly into the camera
Gordon shoehorns in the Labour election slogan: "A future fair for all"
Gordon says he never fell out with Tony Blair...unconvincingly
Dave shakes his fist with conviction
Dave shoehorns in the Tory election slogan: "Vote for change"
Dave says he's a radical conservative...minus any trace of irony
Nick gives a complicated multi-clause answer that nobody understands
Nick shoehorns in the Lib Dem election slogan: "Building a fairer Britain"
Nick says the Lib Dems can win power at the general election...without conviction
