A similar idea forms the basis of another competition at a bingo club in the Warwickshire town of Rugby, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
Earlier this month, a local lady decided to dig out her dabber and play a few lines with a fellow bingo fan.
She has been visiting the same bingo club for years, but this night turned out to be rather special indeed because her winning ticket landed her the astonishing sum of £135,000.
And just like the Bucky Bullseye, the other players in the bingo club received their own payout to mark the momentous occasion - they each walked away with £2,906.07 in their back pocket.
Reflecting on the incredible turn of events, the Rugby lady said that she was "absolutely ecstatic" about the win.
"We've always dreamed of winning the big one and we always said that we'd split it between us," she explained.
"We were so pleased we called n number five and got to share the jackpot with the rest of the club."
