Big Brother by the numbers
As the UK gears up or turns away from Big Brother's series finale we've had time to reflect on the show. For a good ten years, online bingo fans have likely been delighted or frustrated by the coverage given to that year's chosen batch of strangers.
Regardless of your stance, it can't be denied that Big Brother has had an impact on UK culture. That's why we've put together a fantasy bingo card designed to illustrate the best and worst moments that have occurred in the famous house.
Big Brother's fantasy bingo card
1 - Who could forget the first series of the show, when housemate Nick Bateman was thrown out for contravening the rules by trying to influence voting? A tense showdown in the house followed, and 'Nasty Nick' made a career as a pantomime villain off the back of it.
3 - The world was introduced to Jade Goody in Big Brother's third series. Loud, brash and sometimes slightly confused ("Rio de Janeiro, ain't that a person?"), Jade became the biggest star of the entire series and millions of people mourned her death in 2009.
18 - Teen Big Brother was broadcast in 2003 and featured eight 18-year-olds. Even though it was filmed months in advance of airing, it still courted controversy when it emerged a relationship had begun between two housemates.
90 - Big Brother 6 featured 90 episodes and was eventually won by Anthony Hutton. However, by this time average ratings had already slipped to 4.5 million, compared to 5.8 million in series 3. By Big Brother 10, the mean audience was 2.51 million.
So with three weeks left of Big Brother antics left on Channel 4, we bid adieu to the house that Davina built. Whether it's in joy or anger - Bucky reminds you not to swear.
