Rafael Nadal powered his way to Wimbledon victory on Sunday, with online bingo games players watching live as the Spaniard picked up his second championship on the hallowed grass courts of SW19.

Nadal dispatched 12th seed Tomas Berdych in straight sets to record his eighth Grand Slam win. Bucky Bingo fans may have been behind British player Andy Murray as the tournament began, but Nadal has proved himself to be a worthy champion, and former winner Boris Becker has been singing his praises to the BBC.

Becker said: "We shouldn't forget how good Rafa is ... He's won the French and Wimbledon twice now in the same year and that speaks volumes, that's an almost impossible thing to do."

5 The Spaniard only managed to lose five sets on his way to regaining the title. However, he went to gruelling five-set thrillers with both Robin Haase in the second round and Philipp Petzschner in the third.
32 Nadal picked up the most converted break points of the entire tournament 32. Perhaps this is an indication of just how strong his baseline game and return of serve really are.
1 The US Open title is the one accolade that has so far managed to elude Nadal. He'll be looking to finally get his hands on it in the autumn...
