It wasn't the best of weekends for online bingo fans behind England at this year's World Cup. The national team crashed out after a 4-1 defeat against arch-rivals Germany. However, in an effort to help fans come to terms with the fiasco, we've compiled a footy bingo card. We won't use the number 4 though the number of years England will have to wait before we go through this all over again!

A bingo fan in Haringey celebrated a very special birthday recently. Lydia Clark turned 100 and invited some of her bingo hall pals to a party which was also attended by Haringey Mayor Eddie Griffiths. The Mayor was kind enough to present her with a specially-embossed set of whisky tumblers. It just goes to show that bingo really does span all ages, despite a recent report claiming that bingo players were on average getting younger.
