An exciting new craze is sweeping the nation. Inspired by the rave scene of the 1980s, Rebel Bingo is truly a bingo night like no other. Up to 2,000 young people rock out to Black Sabbath, go mad with multi-coloured dabbers and play a few lines of bingo. Despite the huge attendances, all advertising is frowned upon. Bingo fans can only find out about the next event through word-of mouth, emails, phone calls and texts.

Nedum Onuoha, a Nigerian defender who plays for Manchester City, was the star name at a recent event in the City of Manchester Stadium. The Premiership player took on the role of celebrity bingo caller during a tea dance organised by the Manchester club's registered charity City in the Community.
