A bingo fan in Haringey celebrated a very special birthday recently. Lydia Clark turned 100 and invited some of her bingo hall pals to a party which was also attended by Haringey Mayor Eddie Griffiths. The Mayor was kind enough to present her with a specially-embossed set of whisky tumblers. It just goes to show that bingo really does span all ages, despite a recent report claiming that bingo players were on average getting younger.

Online bingo is a great way to play your favourite numbers game. But despite the rise of the internet, it's worth pointing out that millions of gamers still flock to land-based bingo clubs across the UK. Traditional clubs give players the opportunity to meet up with friends and play for huge cash prizes like the £25,000 National Bingo Game and £50,000 Bucky Bullseye. In Rugby, meanwhile, a lady has just scooped a £135,000 jackpot at her local bingo club.

The Oscars are almost upon us. Will Jeff Bridges win Best Actor? Will Sandra Bullock claim Best Actress? And will Hurt Locker fight off Avatar to scoop Best Picture? However, it has to be admitted that many fans of our bingo bonus games aren't all that interested in what happens on the other side of the world. As a result, we've decided to hold our own awards ceremony to celebrate the cream of the crop in the world of bingo bonus games.

Some online bingo players have all the luck. A gamer called Darryl Howe may be about to enter the record books for the fastest ever full house after ticking off all 15 numbers in just 23 calls. In case you're wondering, the likelihood of that happening is 93 billion to one. As if that wasn't enough, it turns out that Darryl was playing his very first bingo game. He only opened an online bingo account 40 minutes earlier.

There are plenty of parallels between bingo games and classrooms, according to a light-hearted article from a secondary school teacher. Gill Pyatt works as a maths tutor in Gloucester and also helps out as bingo caller at a local homeless shelter. She noted that both groups are distinctly territorial when it comes to getting the best seats. Moreover, bingo game players act like class prefects by handing out the pens and winners face a boisterous atmosphere reminiscent of the playground.

Many online bingo players are so focussed on scooping the jackpot that they never pause to consider what they'd actually spend it on. Perhaps you'd take the sensible option and top up your ISA or refurbish your home? Or maybe, like one Leeds-based online bingo fan, you'd book an extravagant three-week holiday to Las Vegas? It's worth remembering you can win some serious amounts of cash at Bucky Bingo. So what would you do with an online bingo jackpot?

Club-based Bucky Bingo players cannot get enough of the Bucky Bullseye at the moment. Incredibly, the £50,000 bingo game was won three times in the space of ten days in August. As well as the jackpot, the Bucky Bullseye pays out £50 to every player in the club - the latest win saw 260 fellow bingo fans receive the generous cash prize. Here, the Bucky Blog lifts the lid on this bingo game phenomenon.

Bucky Bingo believes everybody should experience the thrill of winning a bingo game. As a result, we have decided to give out cash prizes to online bingo players more regularly than ever before. We think it's better to make more winners, more often than it is to hold back for massive jackpots. Meanwhile, online bingo has given another player a payout to remember. A Cumbrian woman has told what it's like to win real cash online.

Lots of online bingo sites entice players with the promise of huge jackpots, but the wait between these payouts can seem never-ending. At Bucky Bingo, we've decided that a better way of rewarding bingo fans is to offer frequent smaller bonuses and cash prizes, meaning that a constant stream of winners is produced by the site. By awarding more prizes, more often than anyone else, Bucky Bingo has made itself one of the most generous online bingo sites around.
